Spacing not maintained in messages [message #8329]

Maybe this is as designed but spacing in messages doesn't seem to be maintained (in 2.3.5). For example, if I try to pre-format a grid like:

1 2 3 4
info info info info

though in posting this I put 10 spaces between each column, when I actually post the message those will all be reduced to one space.

This is font issue. Look at the HTML code

Quote:

1             2                    3             4<br />
info          info                 info          info<br />

Just use

[code][/code]

structure where you need correct spacing.
