Hello.

This is a great product by the way. I'm getting the forum ready for posting, and that's why I'm "living" on your forum and posting a bunch of posts.

Anyway, This is somethingn some else noticed. Is it possible to have a confirmation of some sort that email actually has been sent?

Thanks!
LN

What do you mean?

If e-mail cofirmation is enabled the fact you get to the next page means the confirmation has been sent.

??? Did I miss a settingn in the Admin Control Panel? For instance, when I report a posting to a moderator I, as the user, do not get a message saying the message was sent. Or when the user I'm sending to "hides" their email address, and the email I'm sending is sent by the forum itself, I don't get a message that the email has been sent.

Simply redirecting the user to the home page, doesn't exactly give the typical user warm fuzzies that the email was actually sent. Does that make sense?

Oh, I see what you are saying... I know other forums have a confirmation for every single thing, but IMHO that is just an annoyance or at least I find it very annoying.
If a certain step could not be done, the user would get an error, otherwise there is no need to generate a virtually pointless page that most people just will be annoyed with after the 1st time they see it.
