hopefully theres a way to fix this but i put some php into the header and managed to cause a parse error somewhere in the script - it's probably a small error but now i cant get into the header file to fix it ( cant access the file directly as per the other post ---- changing the templates )

i cant access the file (header) directly -- as per my other post --- "changing the templates" on this forum

neither can i access the header through the fourm as it wont load beacause of the parse err

The admin control panel does not use header or footer, so you should be able to fix the program without it having any impact on you.

I can't open up the message board at all,when i wrote the faulty code into the header,it seemed to screw up the main index page,so i can't access the admin control panel.

i cant,as far as i know you mean to access the .tmpl files in the specific folder within the thm directory but the only directories in there are,default and path info,or should i be looking somewhere else

i dont know why the directories arent appearing-maybe it would be easier to reinstall the forum from scratch-what do you think

sorry this may sound lame but i actually had a mate read this post out to me over the phone as i was away from my pc and the person didn't see the link .... all is well now i tried it and i got back in.
