In a 2.5.2 installation I have seen several times that the [/u]link text[/u] of an auto-generated URL block was slightly mangled. Examples:
  1. A blank was inserted (a '15645' became '1564 5')
  2. A ' ;' was inserted (a '&' became '& ;'

In all cases [/u]only[/u] the displayed link text was affected, the link itself always worked properly.

Does this happen with 2.6.0RC11?

I have tried the link

http://fud.prohost.org/forum/index.php?t=rview&goto=15645

under 2.5.2, where a blank is inserted between '1564' and '5', and 2.6.0, where apparently all is fine now.

If you put really long text the link description still may gain 'extra' spaces due to wrapping.
