Hi,

I've searched through the forum but so far I haven't seen anything close to my little problem ...

Whenever I use the normal setup I get the message frpom mail.php that mail() is an undefined function. I looked good and hard at php.net but I found not notice that some package or add-on was required to use mail() from within PHP.

I changed the software to use SMTP instead and things work just fine now, I'd just like to know how to fix this problem.

Ideas, anyone?

Ciao,

HtF

This is a problem with your PHP compilation. When you compiled PHP, it could not find sendmail binary and therefor disabled the mail() function that depends on it.
