i just installed FUDForum and after installation I cannot login with the user account I created, nor can I register a new account. Well, that is I cannot login on the main page, I can login to https://something/adm and then go to the FUDForum as if I'm logged in, but once I logout I cannot just go to Login to login.

When I try to register a new user it just loops at the Agree/Disagree page. I click Agree and it does...something, but it never moves forward, just sits there.

No error logs, nor any locks present. Any help?

What version did you install? What name are you using for the domain?

2.6.8, i can't post the domain for security reasons (outside access isn't allowed anyway) but it is a fqdn.

Well, is it a valid domain ex: foo.bar.com, or is it a domain alias "foobar". In the event of the latter the forum is probably trying and failing to set a cookie since foobar is not a valid domain.

Hmm... can you see if the forum is sending a cookie and then if the browser accepting it and sending it back?

Also, what version of the forum are you using?

If you login via the admin control panel, can you browser/use various control panels without getting errors?

ok, i figured that out, i had http://something when it should have been https://something and that fixed that, however now i am having another problem when trying to make a new category. i get this error:

What version of the forum are you using? Upgrading to the latest RC may fix the error.
