There is a very plain login screen that you get to in
limited circumstancses. For example if you temporarily disable forums and there is a link to allow administrators in. Whenever I get that screen I am unable to log in. It seems like login or session management is broken for that route.
I'm referring to the adm/admloginuser.php
Also, when logged into the admin control panel and selecting
PDF generator management, I am taken to that same admloginuser (which doesn't ever work).
Earlier today I disabled forums and it was not possible to reenable without manually modifying OPT_1 because the admin login via this special route did not work.

Does your forum use URL sessions?
If you are using cookie are you certain they are being accepted by the browser?

Both URL and Cookie session options are turned ON.
On the PDF generator login attempt it says only adminsistrators with proper credentials can use this control. This might be unrelated problem.
