I noticed that if I search this forum, then scroll down a little in the results, then click any result, then hit back, that it scrolls back to the top of the results (seems like it scrolls right where the cursor is to enter in new search terms) and I have to scroll back down again. Is there any way to prevent the search results page from scrolling back to the top when I hit back from a recently clicked result?

I am using Firefox 1.0.2 in Linux, incase you need to know what web browser I am using.

No idea why firefox does this. there is nothing special (focus changing or otherwise) on the search results page that would cause the browser to "forget" the position when going back.

I have the same "problem" with firefox 1.0.0 and Windows 2000.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die.
