Hei,
I run a forum, and my IE users has experienced cookie problems (cookie expires after a couple of days), but after upgrading to 2.7.4 things got much worse:
When IE users try to download attachments, they get the message "insufficient permissions" and are automatically logged out after right-clicking the file (which is index.php, not the actual attachment). Firefox users (me) isn't logged out, but right-clicking the attachment results in downloading the index.php. Left-clicking the attachments opens the file (in FF at least).
The general problem with cookie expiration still persists.
Any solutions for this, or any others who has the same experience?
Hopeful wishes,
Jan Terje

Try changing timeouts to smaller values let's say 2592000. Also what is your cookie's domain & path and what is your forum's domain & path?

Thanks I'll try that.
Actually I just discovered that when I changed the permissions for "Anonymous" to allow reading, that solved the attachment problem! So I assume it's not specifically related to 2.7.4.
Cookie Path: /forum/

I really appreciate your efforts to help!

So what would I need to do to relicate the problem? Make a message with an attachment in a forum without anynmous access and then browse the page showing the attachment?
