I have recently had a user explain that they are being logged out every so often. I believe this has to do with Session Timeout being set to 30 minutes (1800s). Am I understanding this setting correctly in that when a user's session is timed out, all they must do is visit a new page or refresh and the session is renewed and that for forms they must only resubmit once more? I am able to remain logged in for days unless I change web browsers/computers. I have never been forced to log in again when the session times out as this user has suggested is happening to him.
Any thoughts on this?

It is possible the user's browser is rejecting cookies, so only the URL sessions are being used. This means every-time they access the forum a new they need to login.
