Email Notice to moderator upon posts, that way the moderator can update the messages and reply. Currently you have to loggin to see if there is anything to allow.

Well, in order to do something about a message the moderator would still be required to login.
There is always "today's posts", allowing the moderator to see any posts made today across the entire forum or just in any 1 one forum.

Hi,
is there a FUD setting to make the moderator of a forum receive an email when someone posts to his/her moderated forum? Most people I've switched on as moderators think this is an excellent feature as they don't have to check the forum everyday but can just wait till they get an email...

There is no such feature yet, but since many people have asked for such a feature I will look into introducing it into the next release.
