We have quite a large forum over at http://forum.freegamedev.net and we are constantly expanding as projects get to share their development community with us. The problem is that if we have to keep creating a new forum for every aspect of each project, we'll have 100s of them and it'll all be a bit too much.

What would be great would be support for child forums (or child boards). If you don't get what I mean, look here:

http://forum.simutrans.com/

You'll notice several boards have 'child boards'. This would be really useful for busy forum sections to be able to organise themselves without clogging the main forum index with a slew of similarly named forums.

e.g. http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?board=155.0

Btw, I know child categories are supported but that's not really what we want (I tried this on our forum, if you scroll to the bottom you'll see) as it's not as concise as child boards would be.
